Jessica Ockershauser

Jessica Ockershauser has over 20 years of experience leading corporate communications and business operations to drive organizational growth and long-term change. She has built and scaled high-performing teams and implemented initiatives that improve efficiency while aligning with corporate goals. Known for her ability to connect strategy with execution, Jessica brings both operational and communications expertise to her leadership approach.

With extensive experience in internal and executive communications, Jessica is a skilled communicator with a strong understanding of how to develop influential strategies that engage key audiences while staying true to corporate values.

Prior to joining DrivePath Advisors, Jessica was a senior communications leader at Heartland, a Global Payments Company, where she was responsible for developing and executing the company’s internal and operational communications strategies. In this role, Jessica was the primary contact for all executive communications serving as a trusted advisor to the executive team while building and leading strategies for several mergers & acquisitions, crisis communications, employee engagement initiatives and product announcements. She also built and led teams, streamlined processes, and drove cross-functional strategies that enhanced organizational efficiency and employee engagement.

Jessica’s career started in advertising and public relations and includes serving as corporate communications manager for Chesapeake Energy Corporation. During her time with Chesapeake, Jessica led internal communications, helping the business keep employees engaged and connected during multiple CEO transitions, as well as mergers and divestitures, through thoughtful and targeted communications tactics. In addition, she supported all media and public relations efforts, sustainability reporting and investor communications.

A graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Communications, she is a results-driven leader passionate about helping organizations reach their business goals through operational excellence, thoughtful strategy, and strong execution.
